In South, Hispanic students gaining acceptance

Atkinson County High School in Pearson, Ga., made history this past year when two Hispanic students became its homecoming king and queen, in a school with a 26% Hispanic population. These and other signs may signal a further integration of Hispanics into Southern life but challenges remain.
