Guam naval facility being built to achieve LEED Silver

The Navy recently broke ground on a gas station and convenience store at its base in Guam that is expected to achieve LEED Silver status upon completion. "It symbolizes the Navy's commitment not only here on Naval Base Guam, but across the board, the impact on our families' and service members' quality of life on our Navy bases and I'm very proud of that," said the base commander, Capt. Mike Ward.
