To help get students excited about the possibilities associated with STEAM education and careers, Crafton Elementary School in Pittsburgh has set up a room dedicated to science, technology, engineering, the arts and math. The room is filled with K'NEX, computer workstations and other hands-on materials. "It's just a way for kids to show off what they've been working on," principal Jacie Maslyk said. "And (also it's) just to get the word out there that learning can be fun in a hands-on way, and I think this demonstrates that."
