Ultra HD TV: Are consumers ready to pay up?

Ultra HD television sets will be widely featured at next week's 2013 International CES, Daisuke Wakabayashi writes in this analysis. Prices for these higher-resolution TVs are expected to range from $8,700 to $25,000. "If you're a consumer, you'll pay more for a technology that you understand," said Paul Gagnon of NPD DisplaySearch. "And in the case of higher resolution, that's a very easy thing to understand."
