Animal fat seen key to future biodiesel production

Animal fat is likely to become the major ingredient in biodiesel fuel, replacing more costly soybean oil. A new plant in Missouri plans to use chicken fat available from a nearby Tyson Foods plant, and huge amounts of fuel stock could be available from other meat-processing plants.
