Mixed-use development planned for former brick company site

Developer Jackson-Shaw Co. has gained approval to build a mixed-use development on the 125-acre site of the former Washington Brick Co. in Beltsville, Md. The plans call for 750,000 square feet of flex/light industrial space and 1,300 residences, as well as up to 30,000 square feet of neighborhood retail.
