U.K. bans snack-food ads to children

The U.K. on Tuesday imposed a ban on advertising snack foods to children under age 16 to control childhood obesity and promote nutritious eating. The ban, which extends standards already applicable to children under age 10, focuses on products containing high levels of fat, salt and sugar.
