Online CE sales increase 21% during the holidays

Online sales of consumer-electronics products rose 21% from Nov. 1 to Dec. 23, according to a report from comScore. Consumer electronics, along with computer hardware and software sales, helped increase the e-commerce holiday total to $30.8 billion, a new record and a 13% gain over the previous year.
