Almost all Google Chrome users on PCs are using browsers that support all five of HTML5's major features, according to a Chitika Insights report, and almost all Firefox and Safari users are able to use four out of the five features. That suggests that the browser wars could be helping to spur HTML5 uptake, writes Gabe Donnini. "The active support for HTML5 hints at the brewing market share battle between browsers. None of them want to lose out in supporting promising future technology," writes Donnini.
