Increased airline routes promise growth for Las Vegas tourism

The Las Vegas tourism market will get a boost in 2012 as airlines such as Southwest expand their route maps and the new Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport prepares for its June opening. The tourist market is also likely to experience growth in hotel occupancy and room rates because of a lukewarm development pipeline.
