Ohio to increase in-class observations of teachers

In Ohio, changes to teachers' evaluations include more classroom observations from administrators and third-party evaluators. The required evaluations will rate teachers as accomplished, effective, developing or ineffective. Teachers generally are in favor of the classroom observations, with some saying they view it as a chance to hear constructive criticism and improve.
