Poll finds healthier habits among insured Americans

The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index showed that only 20% of insured Americans reported smoking compared with 36% of their uninsured counterparts. Those with health insurance also appeared to exercise more often and had healthier diets than those who were not insured.
