Belden completes $43 million deal

Missouri-based cable maker Belden has completed the sale of its Chinese consumer electronics assets to Shenzhen Woer Heat-Shrinkable Material for about $43.3 million, the company announced. The sale will allow the company to shift its focus "to areas of strategic relevance in Asia," said John Stroup, Belden CEO and member of MAPI's board of trustees.
