China's online retailers go abroad for growth

China's Jingdong Mall launched its English language site in October, one of the latest examples of Chinese e-commerce companies looking to grow their global presence. The retailers often start with English language sites targeting consumers in the US and Europe, but many are finding greater growth prospects in emerging markets such as Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, said PayPal executive Chen Dong.
