First canine ehrlichiosis vaccine developed in Israel

Veterinary researchers in Israel have developed the first ever vaccine for canine monocytic ehrlichiosis, a potentially deadly tick-borne disease that affects dogs. Although more research is needed to ensure the vaccine protects against other strains, a commercial vaccine will likely be developed.
