A deal to avoid the "fiscal cliff" includes some tax breaks that will let many enterprises breathe a bit easier in the short run, including tax incentives for making improvements to stores and restaurants. "This agreement might not be seen as perfect by everyone, but it gives American consumers and businesses the certainty they need to put worries over this issue behind them," said National Retail Federation President and CEO Matthew Shay.
