John Deere forms 4-point plan to reach $50B sales goal

John Deere plans to focus on four key factors to help it reach its goal of $50 billion in yearly sales by 2018. The company also will invest in research and development to build its product pipeline. Deere says it will maintain its focus on U.S. and Canadian markets, which made up about 62% of the company's equipment sales in 2012.
