Poll: Americans say "fiscal cliff" didn't affect spending

Almost three-quarters of consumers surveyed recently said that concerns over the "fiscal cliff" didn't affect their holiday spending, and only 19% said they spent less this season than last, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll. Some 57% said they spent the same on the holidays this year as they did in 2011, and 17% reported spending more.
