Study: Deep-space missions could lead to Alzheimer's in astronauts

Astronauts performing deep-space missions may be at a higher risk of Alzheimer's disease caused by space radiation, according to a study from the University of Rochester Medical Center. The study, based on research on mice, discovered that space radiation can accelerate Alzheimer's-like symptoms in the brain.
