Worldwide telecom revenue topped $2 trillion in 2012, Ovum reports

Telecom operator revenue around the world for 2012 will come in at more than $2 trillion, according to Ovum. Three-fifths of that amount went to mobile operators, the market research firm estimates. Ovum forecasts that mobile broadband revenue will increase annually by 19.2% over the next four years.
