N.J. board asked to address variations in school uniform policy

A New Jersey school board is being asked to reconsider its uniform policy, which varies from school to school, over concerns that middle- and high-school students do not have the same flexibility when it comes to wearing warm clothes such as sweaters and fleece jackets. Elementary-school students have been allowed to wear sweaters, and high-school students were recently given the option.
