Report: Pharma leads all segments in mobile-ad-spend increases

Pharmaceutical companies have increased their mobile ad spending by 744% from Q3 2012 to the same period in 2013, representing the largest segment increase, according to Millennial Media. News, sports and consumer goods industries followed, all with increases of more than 350%. EMarketer estimates that global mobile ad spend increased 105.9% to reach $18.16 billion in 2013, with growth of 62.1% expected this year.
