Medicare plan begins with mixed results nationally

With the new Medicare drug plan officially in effect, beneficiaries across the nation experienced a range of difficulties. Some pharmacies had trouble finding patients in the system because the Medicare database was overwhelmed with inquiries and some patients haven't received their identification cards yet, but the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services said it was pleased overall with the first day.
