Study: SUVs no safer for children

Sport-utility vehicles are no safer for children than passenger cars because greater rollover risk cancels out other safety advantages, a new study says. "Contrary to public perception, SUVs do not provide superior protection to child occupants, compared with passenger cars," wrote lead author Dr. Lauren Daly of A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del.
