Atlanta airport remains busiest in U.S. for third straight year

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport again claimed the title of the busiest U.S. airport in terms of flights, according to government statistics. The airport logged 994,466 takeoffs and departures in 2007. Chicago O'Hare International Airport was the second-busiest airport, with 935,000 takeoffs and departures last year.
