Pennsylvania state board to vote on exit exams

Pittsburgh schools as soon as the next school year may pilot a graduation exit-exam program, under which students statewide would be required to pass five of 10 subject-area exams, with some exceptions allowed. The Pennsylvania board of education is expected to vote on the proposal later this month.
