Missouri vets administer Intervet's vaccine for canine flu virus

Veterinarians in Missouri are providing dogs with a vaccine for H3N8, a canine influenza virus that was discovered in 2004 and might have spread recently to the state. Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health developed the vaccine, which received approval from federal authorities in June.
