Tucson redevelops its downtown, takes on multicultural glow

Although Tucson, Ariz., has been known as a destination for snowbirds, the city is aiming to shed that reputation. Instead, it has poured money into its downtown, retooling older buildings into museums and movie theaters to complement the area's natural beauty. Tucson's Hispanic community and the University of Arizona students who decided to stay following graduation have given the city a youthful, multicultural feel.
