Experts urge disclosure of clinical trial recruitment data

Information on clinical trial recruitment targets and investigators' performance should be publicly disclosed to registries such as ClinicalTrials.gov, writes Rafael Dal-Ré from the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, as well as other academic and clinical trial professionals, in the open-access journal PloS Medicine. Disclosure of such information would help researchers conducting meta-analyses as well as patient advocates, trial sponsors, health officials, review boards and hospital managers, they write.
