Analysis: Psychiatric problems tied to domestic violence

Men and women diagnosed with mental health disorders had a greater likelihood of being victims of domestic violence than those in the general population, an analysis of 41 studies showed. The findings, published in the journal PLoS One, suggest a bidirectional link between abuse and mental health problems.
