Educators in England debate best design for schools

In England, Education Secretary Michael Gove is being criticised for his plans to build 261 replacement primary and secondary schools using a simplified design for smaller schools that include no frills or curves. Gove also has dismissed the findings of a study that says the design and environment of school buildings can have an effect on students' performance.
