Mondelez taps NeoMedia for barcode technology

NeoMedia has been chosen by Mondelez International to provide barcode technology that will let consumers use their smartphones to scan confectionery packaging. "Mobile technologies fundamentally change consumer engagement and their path to purchase and, as a company, we are committed to play a significant role in that space," said Ed Kaczmarek, Mondelez director of innovation and emerging technology.
