Philippine central bank expects to stay on course with low rates

The Philippine central bank projects no likely change this year in its policy of low interest rates. "In 2013, we foresee continued solid economic growth and stable prices, a relatively stable exchange rate and a responsive banking system that is stable to withstand external shocks," said bank Governor Amando M. Tetangco Jr.
