University students awarded for strategy to address showrooming


Six students were recognized by the NRF Foundation and American Express today as the recipients of a $2,500 scholarship and complimentary registration to Retail’s BIG Show this month via the Aspire2Retail Intercollegiate Challenge. This annual competition pairs college students from six retail programs across the country, with each student mentored by a retail executive in a specific business discipline. Tackling the hot topic of showrooming, the six students will present their award-winning business plan Monday, Jan. 14 at Retail’s BIG Show during the session, “Showrooming: An Opportunity or Threat?” Read more.
