Hong Kong looks to new avenues as tourism drops

As Hong Kong sees declining tourism levels from places such as the Americas, Europe and Africa, it is reaching out to emerging markets to fill the gap. The city recently appointed GAA-Marta Consulting from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to be its representative to the Middle East, seen as a promising source of visitors. Hong Kong is also working to boost its appeal as an excellent place for meetings, conventions and exhibitions.
