DP World will go ahead with London port, distribution park

DP World Ltd. plans to proceed with its $2.5 billion London Gateway project on the Thames River in London. The future of the port and distribution park had been questioned after DP World's parent company, Dubai World Corp., renegotiated debt agreements on $26 billion. "DP World looked at a number of options for the project in light of the current market downturn but decided to proceed with the construction of the essential infrastructure," said DP World in a statement.
