Group looks to make video downloads more portable

A broad-ranging group of media companies, including Comcast, is working together on technology that will allow people who have downloaded movies from the Internet to take their content wherever they go regardless of the device they own. The group, called the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem, also includes several Hollywood studios, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Intel and Best Buy.
