New Jersey school district enacts anti-bullying policy

A New Jersey school district recently adopted a bullying policy, and some say it has been long overdue. The written policy was drafted after concerns were raised that the district was not in compliance with state law requiring a policy in writing. The new policy bans bullying in school and online but leaves many decisions up to school administrators. School staffers also must attend training on how to prevent bullying.
