Nurses say communication is key in terminal pediatric cases

A survey of almost 500 pediatric nurses who care for terminally ill children found they wanted better communication and fewer language barriers between caregivers and families. The nurses said they would like less medical intervention when there is no hope of recovery and more understanding by families about allowing for a peaceful death.
