House Republicans want to implement "cut as you go"

House Republicans are eyeing changes to the "pay-as-you-go" rules that the Democratic leadership put in place. Republicans want a rule called "cut-as-you-go," which would mandate new spending be offset by cuts, not tax increases, according to a spokesman for incoming House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio.
