A geographic take on the results of the Iowa caucus

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney beat Rick Santorum by just eight votes in the Iowa caucus, but there are sharp divisions in support between the candidates. An interactive map demonstrates that Romney, a former governor of Massachusetts, performed well in the state's wealthier urban counties, while Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, claimed more votes in every other type of county. New Hampshire's primary is next week, and the demographics there seem advantageous for Romney, suggests Dante Chinni of Patchwork Nation.
