Motivation is key to weight loss, experts say

Finding and maintaining the right motivation for weight loss is key to long-term commitment and success, according to Gary Foster, director of the Center for Obesity Research and Education at Temple University. Registered dietitian Dawn Jackson Blatner also says not to allow setbacks to trump motivation. Setting realistic goals, keeping a food journal and regular weight monitoring may help bolster weight-loss success, they say.
