Nintendo: U.S. sales of 3DS top 4 million units

Nintendo reports it has sold more than 4 million 3DS hand-held gaming devices in the U.S., helped by price cuts and game launches. The "Super Mario 3D Land" and "Mario Kart 7" games for the 3DS have each sold more than 1 million copies in the U.S., according to the company, which notes the 3D device has reached higher unit sales in its first nine months of retail life than the Wii console did in its first nine months.
