Green companies don't dodge taxes

Google and Starbucks have taken "admirable steps" toward sustainability in recent years, but they're undercutting their CSR efforts by avoiding tax payments, writes James Murray. The firms aren't doing anything illegal, but their actions reduce the credibility of their sustainability programs. "[I]t is hard to see how this avoidance is compatible with their erstwhile position as green and ethical business pioneers," Murray writes.
