Study: Magnesium helps fight type II diabetes

According to a study at the Harvard School of Public Health, people at increased risk for diabetes should maintain a diet high in magnesium-rich foods. Researchers say people who include foods such as whole grains, nuts, and green vegetables in their diets are less likely to develop type II diabetes.
