Patients report reactions to diabetes drug

The FDA and GlaxoSmithKline report some patients taking two popular diabetes drugs, Avandia and Avandamet, cited blurred vision and swelling in the legs and feet. The company says it received "very rare" reports of vision problems associated with the drugs, both of which contain the drug rosiglitazone, and the majority of those patients also reported the swelling problem.
