Woman overcame childhood trauma that took her vision

Alexandra Matthew, now 21, lost her sight after her birth parents beat her when she was 4 years old. She grew up in an adoptive family "broken down by fear," but is happily married now and has reunited with her birth family. "I want people to know that it wasn't easy, but it is possible," she said.
