12 students begin first bachelor's program for UAV pilots

Citing a "growing market," the University of North Dakota is offering the first bachelor's degree for ground-based pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles. "Primarily the market is still military, but a lot of that is shifting over time," says an official with UND's Unmanned Aircraft Center. "It's going to be a huge market going out into the future."
