Construction sites face new stormwater rules in Feb.

The Environmental Protection Agency has tightened its rules on stormwater runoff from construction sites, introducing national monitoring requirements and a numerical cap on water discharges. The new regulations take effect in February and will be phased in over the next four years. They will affect only construction sites larger than 10 acres.
