Economist: Housing, CRE threaten U.S. recovery

John Ryding, chief economist at RDQ Economics, said commercial real estate is one of the biggest threats to the U.S. economic recovery. "We have yet to see the full extent of those problems," Ryding said, adding the housing market remains fragile. "I don't think we're out of the woods yet on the write-off situation," he said.
